Bareilly: Dr Raj Kishore, Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Bareilly, was honoured by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in Lucknow on the occasion of the 11th Ayurveda Day.
The recognition was conferred after Bareilly district secured the first position in the state in a three-month analysis of Ayurvedic OPD performance. In recognition of the district’s achievement, the Uttar Pradesh government selected the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer to receive the honour at a ceremony held in the state capital.
The award highlights the performance of Ayurvedic healthcare services in Bareilly and the efforts made to expand and strengthen patient care through government Ayurvedic facilities.
Following the recognition, various social organisations, institutions and medical practitioners congratulated Dr Raj Kishore and appreciated his contribution to the development of Ayurvedic and Unani healthcare services in the district.
The achievement is also being viewed as an encouragement for healthcare personnel working in the traditional systems of medicine to improve service delivery and patient outreach.
